The Centre for Men Australia is a not-for-profit charitable institution primarily set for the prevention of behaviour that is harmful or abusive to men and their famiilies.

CFM is a registered and accredited Harm Prevention Charity providing Counselling for Men and their families at our Seventeen Mile Rocks Community Centre. We specialise in counselling for men and their families including the following:

Men's and Women's Groups

CFM provides Men's and Women's Groups  and Training  at our Brookfield and Seventeen Mile Community Centres. Men and women who have attended counselling are encouraged to attend groups to facilitate their growth and development. These sessions build upon the one-to-one sessions and allow the men and women to interact and open up to and with community. These also assist to get help from other men and women and provide a support network for each other and prevent relapse.

  • Meditation (anxiety control)
  • Five day external camp programs (Men's Rites of Passage)

Community Breakfasts

Our quarterly breakfasts help to promote family health issues, such as grief, anger and depression, in the community while also providing a necessary support network for men in crisis to seek help and assistance. Many of the men who attend our community meals have overcome abuse or addictive behaviour. ) (More)
