An Evening With… Andy Stevens

Topic: In service to what?

Thursday 10th October 2024 at 7pm

If you are a friend of the Centre For Men and Families, you are invited to join us for ‘An Evening With.’
An Evening With is a monthly online gathering where we meet to connect and talk about navigating the beauty and the pain of life together. We have conversations about all kinds of topics and issues to help men and their families – from mental health, sexuality, personal, emotional and spiritual growth, relationships, family, fatherhood, and how to  cope through life’s problems and pain.  Join us each month!

This Month's Topic: "In service to what?"

A conversation with Andy about the concept of “doing” and the reflexive power of our choices.  Andy will share how some of his decisions have had an impact not only on his actions but also on his identity in ways he did not consciously recognise.

This will be an interactive event with an extended Q&A session following Andy sharing.

About Andy Stevens

Andy is a legend. He once held the record for the most kelpie puppies  in his street for 2 years!! Now he keeps busy trying to be a half decent husband/ farzer to his wife of 34 years and 2 adult children. After his rites in 2012, Andy started a number of men’s groups in Victoria and ran annual retreats until COVID got in the way. Having stumbled across Richard Rohr and the contemplative journey in 2009, Andy was convinced he’d found the ultimate solution to his existential yearnings yet the last few years have seen this certainty slowly crumble into something akin to a cross between a grumpy old man and an entitled tantruming toddler.
