Three Paths

Robert Frost once wrote:

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

There are in fact three paths that men take in times of life transition and crisis. It is often not until decades later that we discover if the path was wise or not – when there is not much life left. But it does not have to be that way.

On Monday 19 June, Richard Fay will be giving a talk on the male spiritual journey, the journey that all men take, and the invitations that each path offer. This is a great opportunity for men considering undertaking the Men’s Rites of Passage (MROP) in August. The evening includes free BBQ ($15 for regulars). It commences at 6.30 and concludes by 9pm.

The night will be held at the Brookfield Centre, 139 Brookfield Road, Kenmore Hills. Please RSVP by emailing the Centre for Men at admin@cfma.org.au to confirm your catering. These evenings have become increasingly popular and offer men a chance to connect and understand the wisdom journey that Centre for Men invite men into.
